das große büffeln is a small, fully self-organised diy festival out at oakyardgrounds. it is run by a volunteer crew that is based in cologne.

notes

i met so many great people on and off the floor. the people i first met at breakfast were dancing front row during my set and shared a pen with me during the hungover sektbingo game next morning. micro festivals like this are so important for our scene. this is where community really forms. but they struggle in times of rising costs and regulations. if i get the opportunity to return, i would be thrilled.
